Alright. Rule time. The rules aren't hard and I've worded them pretty simply. Just follow the rules and we'll be fine. For those veteran role-players, just try to bear with me. Believe me. I understand how annoying reading the same rules are. But you might miss something important.
General/ Ooc
number one: Respect is a major trait we need to have on here. No one is higher than the other, yes even you staff.
number two: We allow swearing on here. Just don't go overboard. If you swear over 10 times a post, Keno isn't the site for you.
number three: We've bumped up to a 250 word count post. This is easy for a large majority of you, and it usually brings members who actually enjoy role-playing and plotting.
number four: We allow crazy wolves on Keno. By crazy, I mean something-wrong-in-the-head type of crazy. But please don't make your wolves homosexual. Wolves don't take likings to their own gender. I'm sorry. No.
number five: Definitely no fighting. PM if you must. If it's in the c-box or in threads, you guys are answering to me. The only fighting allowed is In Character fights, which you'll read about a bit later.
number six: Honestly, this rule I shouldn't even have to say. Don't steal. Just cause you like the signature Johnny has doesn't mean you can get the url and claim it as your own on a different site.
number seven: Don't be spamming the c-box. If you're bored, go grab a ball and play outside or go for a bike ride. Spamming, advertising, and fighting are the three you can't do in the c-box.
number eight: Keno is a semi-realistic site. This means wolves can be a little out of the normal; nothing too drastic. Just stuff like a 180lb wolf can be made on here, or a wolf with blue or purple eyes.
Characters/Accounts
number one: Characters should all be unique. Back to the stealing thing, copying someones wolf could result in bans.
number two: Characters should be at least 6 months. They can be younger, if they are in a pack. But a lone, 3 month-old puppy won't make it far. Exceptions, such as a litter being born, can be made for you role-playing a character under 6 months. Even then, they have a mother.
number three: Mixed wolves aren't rare in the wild, so creating mixed breeds is fine.
number four: You need to fill out all the parts in a form. Besides maybe the image, these are all important fields to fill out.
number five: The account names need to be controlled. Names like ' Wolfmaster6787495' aren't allowed. People won't take you serious and, quite frankly, it annoys the hell out of me. Names like ' << W o l f M a s t e r/' are allowed. By the way, those are just examples. Not names you have to pick. xD
number six: Signatures should be around 300 px tall and 550 px wide. Exceptions, like maybe 325 px tall, can be made. But nothing to drastic.
Posting
number one: One of the biggest things not to do is powerplay. Examples will be below.
Midna stalked around her opponent, the furs on her body pricking up. Then, unexpectedly, she slammed into the wolf and tripped him, ending his life in a second.
That's what not to do. And don't judge me by my post. I have no muse. xD
Midna looked into the eyes of her assailant, her own showing death itself. She moved her legs quickly, throwing herself at her attacker. She snapped her jaws shut, just barely missing the wolf.
That's an acceptable post. Not the best, but it'll do as an example.
number two: As stated in the General section, we have a 250 word count to start out with.
number three: Right now, we'll have liquid time up to 5 threads. Liquid time is having your character in more than 1 thread. If I see people struggling to reply to all their threads, or an increasing amount of threads ending with 1-3 posts, I'll be decreasing liquid time.
Breeding/Birthing
number one: Kay', first things first. No graphic breeding will be done in posts whatsoever. If you must rp the breeding out, go to pm. Not only is role-playing wolves mating violating a rule in the TOS, PB tos, check up on number 18 (objectionable content), who wants to read about that?
number two: Breeding is going to be taking place in the wolves actual breeding season. If you have no idea what season is the breeding season, it's the late fall and winter. This way, pups don't end up being born into temperatures of -10 degrees. Believe me. They wouldn't make it.
number three: Seasons are going to be changing every 2-3 weeks, maybe every month.
number four: Pregnancy on Keno will be through the late fall and winter seasons. Due dates will be in early spring.
number five: Once again, no graphics. This includes breeding and birthing. Once more, pm is your way if you absolutely must play out the mating.
number six: Staff will be replying to the puppy forms. They will give you the number of puppies. If any staff is getting begs pm me. The player begging will end up with all still-born puppies. So don't beg.
number seven: Still-born and defective puppies will sometimes happen on Keno. This is all random, again details will be sent, which means no begging. Any puppies not claimed by rpers will be neglected by the mother, and will therefore not survive. In another way, any pups not claimed will be deemed dead.
Fighting
number one: Before you decide to make World War 4 between the wolves, pm me or another staff member and notify us.
number two: Information on pack wars can be found here
number three: You always need permission from the other member before you go and kill their character.
number four: The winning pack of a pack war will claim the territory and most likely chase out any survivors. Pack members of the losing pack have the option to attempt to join the winning pack, but you might still be rejected and forced to flee.
