The Akip beach is right near the Avi spit, the two landforms neighboring each-other. The beach is also affected by the tides, the beach sometimes half under water because of a high tide. The sand is a light color, almost white, and sticks to your paws. It's soft texture is almost never hot, either the air or the water cooling it off. It was once a prized place to fish for humans, due to the nearby spit. Now the only fishers that come to the beach are raccoons and bears.
